client testimonials

  • “Her calming, reassuring presence was a constant source of comfort. She didn’t just offer support during labor; Liz empowered me to feel confident and in control at every stage. Her knowledge of both the physical and emotional aspects of birth was vast, and she shared it in a way that was clear, approachable, and always respectful of my preferences.”

    RIMA Y.

  • “I definitely recommend reaching out to Liz as a postpartum doula. Even though we did not have Liz as a labour and delivery doula, I can only imagine how fabulous she would be for that as well. She has a very calming, positive, and enjoyable presence! Highly recommend :)”

    HALEY

  • “Liz was a rockstar on our daughter’s birthday. Despite all the practice and preparation, dad was overwhelmed in the heat of the moment. Liz helped to provide comfort for mom while helping guide dad’s support. All this was done in a very positive and supportive way. During the labour process, Liz ensured we were well informed and comfortable with every decision and step along the way.”

    SAM & ANDY

  • “Liz is so knowledgeable and comforting! Her support and presence really helped ease my anxiety around labor. She checked in to see how I was doing throughout the process and her texts throughout the postpartum period made a huge difference in my wellbeing. It was easy to trust her right from the beginning. Very thankful to have had her support through pregnancy, birth and postpartum.”

    Christina C.

  • “Liz was absolutely integral to the positive birthing experience we had. She was incredibly attuned to my needs during labour and supported me with techniques to match. We were so grateful to have had her for our births. She helped me recognize the strength that I had within, and to feel informed and empowered during labour. These were truly unforgettable experiences that will live with us for a lifetime!”

    TAYLER M.

  • “Liz offered invaluable perspectives and considerations around delivery and postnatal. She made us feel so comfortable and prepared for something so new and unfamiliar to us. Her presence at the delivery was calming, and helpful to both my husband and I, and it was so great having someone there dedicated to supporting us.”

    SHELBY B.

  • “Liz never pushed an agenda on you. She gives you the facts, debunks myths, and is very aware of the space needed to make decisions. Personally, I was unclear as to what information I needed, how to play my role in an effective way and make sure my wife knew I was there; Liz supported, coached and mentored me every step of the way.”

    BEEJAN G.

  • “I don’t trust most people with my newborn, but I would entrust any of my newborns to Liz any day.  Her knowledge regarding how to help mothers physically and mentally during the postpartum period was equally as valuable as her expertise specific to newborn care.  She understands the importance of safe handling of a newborn, is up-to-date on all best practices, and at the height of COVID, was extremely diligent with following all protocols to help keep my baby safe.”

    EMILY J.

  • “Liz was so great to talk to whether it was about deep conversations regarding how to navigate being a mixed race family, dealing with complicated family dynamics, or simple topics to take my mind off of labour pains with wordle chats! She truly shined in the delivery room by supporting me at every moment. I felt like anytime I was uncomfortable or unsure, I knew I could just look at Liz and she always had this facial expression assuring me that I could do it.”

    ABBY B.

  • “The prep meetings with Liz were incredible, to be guided through things like birthing positions and pain management options was so helpful. Liz also reminded me that I have a voice and am in charge of my birth experience, which can be easy to forget when you’re surrounded by doctors and nurses. Liz is family.”

    CANDICE M.

  • “We immediately felt at ease with her as we had many questions and nerves to battle. We appreciated her evidence-based approach in providing us information - it can be overwhelming to sort through online and Liz distilled things for us in a simple manner. We enjoyed the home visits where we openly discussed our goals and feelings. She was extremely easy to speak with and actively listened to us, never judging, and helped bring differing opinions together. In fact, we could spend hours just talking!”

    RUMA V.

  • “When it came to our birth experience it was everything we hoped for and more. We wanted to labour at home for as long as possible and if Liz had not been there with us, we likely would have gone to the hospital much earlier. She gave us great positions that worked and was there to support us in every way. We felt very prepared, calm and excited.”

    ABBY H.

  • “This was my first pregnancy and as someone who suffers from anxiety I felt I needed extra reassurance and guidance. Liz was just this for both me and my husband. Whenever I was going through something or had a small question or needed an opinion Liz was always there for us. She always made sure to give me all the information so I could make the decision on my own which I really liked.”
