hello

I’m So Glad You’re Here.

I’m Liz, a birth and postpartum doula. I specialize in meeting you exactly where you are, supporting you as we navigate your one-of-a-kind journey to parenthood together. My mission is to empower you through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and the early stages of parenthood with confidence and clarity, while nurturing your growth through this transformative season.

More About Liz Daher

I’m a corporate professional turned doula with a passion for connecting people to the tools and information they need to thrive. I’m also a mom of two, an avid reader, fitness enthusiast, and aspiring sports photographer. My journey into doula work began when I realized how challenging it can be to build and grow a family—and just how much support we really need along the way (more than I ever imagined!).

Just like you might be doing now, I’ve sifted through overwhelming amounts of information, diving into an ocean of resources, chasing answers through endless rabbit holes, and spending hours in online groups—trying to stay afloat in the shifting tides from pregnancy to parenthood. It’s a lot of work, and let’s be honest—who has time for it? I wish I’d had a trusted guide in my corner to help me navigate all of that. So, I became one.

Prepare. Trust. Grow.

Prepare. Trust. Rise.

Prepare. Trust. Thrive.

Prepare. Trust. Arrive.

Prepare. Trust. Grow. Prepare. Trust. Rise. Prepare. Trust. Thrive. Prepare. Trust. Arrive.

what i stand for

Preserving bodily autonomy and protecting personal agency are at the core of my work.

My role is to support and uplift your voice, your choices, and your journey, without assuming ownership over your experience. I am committed to regularly examining my personal biases to ensure they do not impact the guidance I provide to my clients. I offer non-judgmental care, understanding that every individual’s path is deeply personal and unique.

I value honesty, transparency, and integrity, and believe in providing intentional, client-centered services. I am dedicated to practicing open, calm, and respectful communication with everyone I encounter.

  • I am committed to providing care to clients from all backgrounds and cultures, recognizing that each person brings their own unique experiences, beliefs, and traditions to the table. I strive to learn about and honour the personal practices and values that are important to each individual and family, fostering an inclusive environment where these traditions are respected and celebrated.

I am committed to providing care that is affirming, respectful, and inclusive of all identities, expressions, and diverse family dynamics. I strive to create a welcoming space where everyone feels safe and supported, understanding that safety is personal and subjective, and acknowledging that I may make mistakes along the way.

  • I acknowledge that birth work is a rich cultural practice with roots spanning centuries and shaped by the wisdom of countless ancestors and diverse cultures. As a white woman in this space, I recognize the privileges I carry and am committed to reflecting on how I show up and serve in this work, honoring those who have come before me.

I acknowledge that I live and practice on the treaty lands and territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the traditional territory of the Huron-Wendat and the Haudenosaunee. I honour the rich history, culture, and contributions of Indigenous peoples, and recognize the ongoing impact of colonization. I am committed to supporting the healing and revitalization of Indigenous communities and to learning from Indigenous knowledge and wisdom.

  • I firmly believe in the universal respect of human rights and stand in solidarity with marginalized communities, including those within the LGBTQ+ community. While I may not have the expertise to address every need within these communities, I am committed to learning, growing, and offering support where possible. When necessary, I will refer clients to practitioners with specialized expertise to ensure the best care is provided.

As part of my commitment to continuous learning and growth, I am open to receiving feedback and being corrected, particularly in areas where I lack lived experience.
